  23. DESCRIPTION
  24.     APTBBS V1.00 is a free unrestricted BBS program. It is hoped that
  25.     regular users will wish to register their version to show their
  26.     support. But meantime they can fully access the software to see if
  27.     it suits their purposes.

  29.     Some features:
  30.     -============-
  31.     -Supports upto 256 Lines. Each lines features can be custom configured.
  32.  
  33.     -Supports xpr-protocols for filetransfers.
  34.  
  35.     -Programmed in Assembler and 'C'
  36.  
  37.     -65535 different file and message bases.
  38.  
  39.     -Paragon Door interface. Runs most if not all (We havent tested ALL
  40.      of the doors available!) of the old but good Paragon/Starnet doors.

  42.     -CLI Door handler. Custom written DOS Handler that gives you SMOOTH
  43.      and powerful access to CLI Programs. This is a most impressive way
  44.      of allowing your users full access to the Amigas power. Its uses are
  45.      many, for example run Game Doors (Most Infocom Adventures, TIS, KNOT,
  46.      Hack&Slash etc etc.) or utility programs (Including a FULL shell if
  47.      you dare!) through the serial device. ApT-BBS! has many inbuilt
  48.      commands that make the use of CLI programs very easy.

  50.     -Fully Customizable user chat options. Including several display
  51.      modes, time/day of the week responses, save chat, send/receive
  52.      files... etc.

  54.     -Arexx menus and/or ACdriver menus. You choose which you prefer
  55.      to support.
  56.      ACdriver menus are a simple but very powerful structured BBS
  57.      control method.
  58.      Alternatively, if you are happier using Arexx, then you can stick
  59.      to that particular control system exclusively.

  61.     -Editing Tools. You have access to a fully Intuitionised systems
  62.      editor. You can edit User/Files/Message/Chat...etc details easily.

  64.     -Custom Displays. Each BBS line can be run using a custom display
  65.      file. You choose the options that the Line display should have.
  66.      (Screen type, window size/position etc.)

  68.     -QWK Mail Bundler. Uses assembler m/c code to bundle the packets up,
  69.      but is otherwise driven/controlled through (you guessed!) Arexx.
  70.      Therefor you can configure the QWK bundler to completely suit YOUR
  71.      needs!

  73.     -Supports Fidonet and the 1.MSG type mail format.
